He needed to take a little break after his massive, sprawling epic of an album last year, and his second album with Prins Thomas, but as of now, he’s back. Today, we’re listening to two new delights. Jetstream, the new single from Doves is packed with some great mixes from Richard Norris’ The Time and Space Machine, Andrew Weatherall and this fantastic extended version from Lindstrøm that reaches back a bit to his Boredoms remix from last winter but with a little bit more straight-ahead of a groove.

Smalltown Supersound took the opportunity to dig into Lindstrøm’s vaults and picked out a couple songs that had been languishing, giving them a special release on a new 12” called the Leftovers EP. This is the A side, and it’s perfect for a gray and damp and uneasonably chilly but hopeful day like today.
