Have you ever had a week where you kept downloading remixes off blogs and filled your desktop with more mp3s than you’d have time to filter, then ended up throwing them together into a playlist that you only play 30 seconds off each track on it to decide if it rawks or suxx?
That method works to some extent, not all the time though as in most cases you’d miss out on great gems because you weren’t patient enough to listen to the whole thing or give it a chance! This happens to me all the time, until 2 days ago I went jogging and realized I had this week’s dekstop downloads playlist forgotten and unheard.. now unlike any other situation where I’d have the iPod in my palm to easily read titles and touch the ‘Next Track’ button, I had the iPod in my pocket and I wasn’t willing to interrupt my exercise every 5 minutes to skip or find out what i was listening to using my sweaty hands.. it was more like a Radio Show where one doesn’t have control and is forced to listen to the good and the bad from A to Z.
Honestly there were some horrible tunes in there that made me stop and contaminate the iPod screen just to save myself from ear bleeding but after a good exercise I got home and visited iTunes to fully confident pick out a twenty-something gems out of almost 70 meh-tunes and decided to share them with you.
Since I’ll be going for 2 hours runs daily from now on, expect to see posts like this every other week.
These are all absolute must haves, some will hit you from the first play some will only show their brilliance after a few but all are iPod disk space worthy.
