VitalibastiAn

Listening to the new Vitalic album. “With vocals that bring me back to some pretty awesome late 80’s Sesame Street musical numbers” (@Neongarden - This Is The One About Those), its pretty fucking bomb by far. NG beat me to posting samples from Flashmob, so I’ll take sloppy seconds and share some songs from his first album, OK Cowboy. And I guess I’ll share “Your Disco Song (Extended)” which was released on the Disco Terminateur EP. A flaccid version “Your Disco Song” appears on Flashmob.

The other half of this post is about SebastiAn. He’s not new, but we’re still waiting for a full-length from him. This guy’s brilliant, but I’m not sure what he was thinking when he chose his stage-name. “Sebastian” isn’t very unique. It’s not as bad as “edIT” or “Danger”, but to keep SebastiAn in my Hype Watchlist, I have to deal with an endless flow of Belle & Sebastian tracks from indie blogs. I wish he added a last name or some numbers. Now, back to him being totally rad… here’s some songs that never get old. (I don’t know what he was thinking when he decided to add 6 seconds of microphone feedback at 2:04 in “Motor”. I bought the digital album, it is not a corrupt MP3.)

SebastiAn - H.A.L
