Binary is a label and a collective of LA based youngsters consisting of dance music producers and artists thriving to deliver quality music just the way we like it, DIY.
Binary Presents: LA Lights, is the debut record from Binary Records. It features 2 tracks from each of their seven artists (Alfa, Fabian, LexiconDon, Keenhouse, NightWaves, Short Circuit, and The Kids Are Radioactive), released worldwide digitally on October 13th. This record, and Binary as a whole, is really about writing great songs, in the traditions of great artists, both electronic and rock. They believe in great songwriting first. It’s about being nostalgic, and getting emotional about your music.
The first single is a double A-side by Keenhouse/LexiconDon, the latter which we are here to introduce. Heart Attack is LexiconDon’s dive into the pop banger realm. Binary preaches about bringing songwriting back to the dancefloor and if this song is any indication of whats to come, there’s a bright future to come for LexiconDon and the rest of Binary.
On decorative duties Diamond Cut simulates a sound tracked trip through an 80s style neon landscaped dreamwave number with laminated echoes and glistening synth, while 99 delivers a more technician nightmare banger a la SebastiAn.
iPod or DJ, these are for you in 320kbps courtesy of Binary Records.
