First is a great track produced by Paul Epworth that’s out complementing the new Annie album on an EP of most of the tracks that leaked before the release. It’s easily the best of the new batch of her songs I’ve heard, and and really reaches back a bit (so far!) to the pop sensibilities of her first album.

Word’s been out on this for a while - it was on TVP’s top 10 back in August - but it really is worth noting that this is the first Proxy remix in some time that I’ve really found compelling - he’s doing a good job bringing his militant sensibilities with a little bit of melodic consideration. I find it really remarkable how pristine he kept the vocal track, really. Nice work, I hope for more to come.

Morgan Geist has really been on a roll lately after some time under the radar with fantastic mixes of Hot Toddy and Jonathan Jeremiah. This mix for Scott Hardkiss might be the best of the three, as it’s a bit faster and energetic but still retains that classic Environ sound. He’s still one of the best around.
