So, after listening to the new Jori album a bunch more, I’ve had the track with our good friend Tiga in my head nearly all the time. It’s really a wonderful atmospheric pop song, something like a more forceful sequel to (the best track on Ciao!) Speak, Memory. This is one of the best tracks of the year, and if anything deserves to get a package with some of the best remixers around (I’d love to hear Zombie Nation or Siriusmo take a crack at it) and maybe a video from Alex and Liane.

Kris Menace has a new project called Love on Laserdisc. There’s an EP coming out on Compuphonic sometime very soon, and a couple of his new remixes (namely, the one for Depeche Mode which he claims is perhaps his best yet) will share the name. This is the A-side of the EP, and it reminds me a lot of the delicious second disc of his Idiosyncrasies album.

Finally, Siriusmo brings 2007 crashing headfirst into 2009 to hopefully make a baby 2010 for a remix of Gossip’s earlier single. When did you think you would before clipped, slap bass and piano and compressed drums sounded so fresh again? This is brilliant. Here’s the dub at 320 so you can hear more clearly your world collapse in on itself.
